This "Kustom & Counter Culture," event which will take place in Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) on 29-30 July 2023 with the theme "Raikan Beza Mu". The event brings together automotive enthusiasts, custom builders, artists, and fans to showcase their creativity and passion for automobiles and motorcycles.
This year's edition promises to be even bigger, occupying an impressive 350,000 sq ft of indoor space and 3.48ha of outdoor space, practically taking over all of MAEPS' event halls.
The international custom community and media will be well-represented with esteemed guests such as Shige Suganuma, Emi Suganuma, "Sunny" Yano & Michi "NATQQ" from MOONEYES, Wild Road Choppers, and Cosmic Chopper City from Japan, along with Cycle Zombies, Geoff from Return of CafÈ Racer, and V-Twin Visionary from the United States.
Art of Speed 2023 introduces exciting new additions, starting with the Outdoor ThunderCircus "Brotherhood Rally," a dedicated area for motorcycle enthusiasts. ThunderCircus will feature a thrilling motorcycle stunt show by professional riders and a mega ride-in with various motorcycle groups from Malaysia and beyond.
Another exciting addition is the first official Hot Wheels Collector Convention in Southeast Asia. Visitors can enjoy a plethora of Hot Wheels activities, including diorama displays, the Hot Wheels Rare and Collectibles Exhibition, Hot Wheels Skate School, and Hot Wheels Swap, Buy and Sell. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet famous Hot Wheels designers from the US and participate in a record attempt for the largest Hot Wheels formation in Malaysia.
To commemorate Hot Wheels' 40th anniversary in Malaysia, Mattel collaborates with Proton Holdings Bhd to create the first-ever Hot Wheels Saga. A Hot Wheels x Proton Kids Design Competition allows Malaysian children to showcase their creativity, with the winning design featured on the blister card of the Proton Saga special edition.
The event will also host the Hot Wheels Legends Tour, with both local and international judges selecting a champion to represent Malaysia on the world stage. NEAT Fest in Hall C will display selected modified cars from across Malaysia, and Hail Vintage in Hall D will showcase a wide range of vintage collectibles.
This year's theme is Music, highlighting rare music collectibles, merchandise, and memorabilia. The annual Kustom & Koffee Talk inside Hall A will be hosted by Qhalis Najmi from NoEqual.co, featuring overseas panelists.
Additional attractions include an automotive flea market, product launchings on stage, a test ride zone for bikes from various renowned brands, and the highly popular SoundCircus Festival. One lucky draw winner will have the chance to take home a fully customized 1979 Toyota Celica with air ride suspension by Art of Speed Malaysia (AOSM).
AOSM has become a remarkable gathering for enthusiasts of motorcycles, cars, arts, music, and collectibles. The 12th annual show promises to be a spectacular event that should not be missed.
The title presenter for AOS 2023 is Bro Asia, a local e-devices manufacturer. The weekend pass for AOS 2023 is available for RM35, with free entry for children under 12.
